Hi there everyone at the Open Office Team/crew
if you can pass this around it would be most appreceated to those whom receive
it.

I am Robbie Kleij
also known with my internet users name as mdbobbo almost everywhere.
A little introduction to Robbie Kleij
I have a web domain name www.treezone.co.nz
where I assist computer newbies get ahead by overcomming the "need to know
base" and I generally broker free2use&free2keep software .
I am presently researching and developing a eco-viable and eco-friendly
electro-magnetic transportation system for global use including urban
transportation and intercity express system at speeds of a potentially 600 plus
kph.
Completely fueled by solar and wind energy and any other eco-friendly power
collection methods that would comply with the
 The Kyoto Protocol.

The uninstallation issue
For myself this is probably an error I personally created and I wish to warn
others of this anomaly within the Vista 64 bit OS.

As I am a software broker I trial programs to the N'th degree and that's also
includes trialing them for computer dumbies
such that the software should under most standard "computer dumbies"
circumstances, nothing should go wrong.

Well in this case it has and majorly so.

I download the program "Wise Registry Cleaner 3" and "Wise Disk Cleaner 3"
from http://www.wisecleaner.com/
both of which I'm considering good programs as their functionality does what it
claims.

With running these two programs I have found another flaw with the Windows
Operating system it's self especially concerning UNINSTALLATIONS of legacy
programs from the windows 64bit OS and how these files are stored on the
computer.

Uninstallation (filename).msi files are stored in the following folder
(previouly know as directory)
this is the case for Open Office 2.3
C:\Users\Robert Kleij\Desktop\OpenOffice.org 2.3 Installation Files\

this is the case for google earth
C:\Users\ROBERT~1\AppData\Local\Temp\{A225C97A-B135-442C-8E13-B52BE2B32D09}\

this is the case for Opera
C:\Users\ROBERT~1\AppData\Local\Temp\_isFC4A\

And here's the folder for Logitech gaming software 5.01
C:\Users\ROBERT~1\AppData\Local\Temp\pftF3D3.tmp\

The list goes on I have even found that automatically updated programs have the
same destroyed uninstallation files
such as the following... which is completely itemised between "{ }" "curley
brackets - ommiting the speech marks complete with More information and Help
and Support file links that are not capable of solving this type of error "this
report is continued at section marked "Cont-2"

Cont-2
at least no one from any microsoft windows support team has ever been in touch
with me or guessed at any type of solution to date or started any debate re
these error issues, I have taken their lack of responce as they have lost the
ability to care due to the companys large size, but I digress.

As you can see this reported error stems from the windows "desktop" in the case
of the OpenOffice version 2.3
and for most other case the reported error stems from the folder
"C:\Users\ROBERT~1\AppData\Local\Temp\"

and it is this second folder that I am assuming that the Error's have come from
originally
on Cleaning the Registory with "Wise Registry Cleaner 3" I considered that
anything held within a TEMPORARY folder was definatly just that .. it was
temporary and therefore of no considered value Now or in the Future of the
Computer OS's life.

Here is the Error's and Microsoft "Windows Vista (TM) Home Premium,
64-bit"operating system's clear fallibility.

Reducing or reduction of my Complaint/issue to the absurd and the sublime
  from:
  reductio ad absurdum
(reduction to the absurd) a disproof by showing that the consequences of the
proposition are absurd; or a proof of a proposition by showing that its
negation leads to a contradiction.

When I learned DOS 6.22 (for example) anything that was sectioned to a temp,
tmp or any other so named directory and now a days referred to as folder then
the contents of that directory or folder was exactly that, temporary and as
such being said to be Lacking continuity or regularity and generally
unnessesary to the clean workings of the operating system.

Even so stated by Microsoft as safe to be removed and deleted as remember
from some 25 years learning Disk Operating systems.
This may to the IT message scanners eye's amount to little more than a stupid
error on the part of a systems administrator
Although I see the potential within this to amount to a failure, to design
Operating Sytems folder naming convention.

the OS designers have hereby skipped by folder naming convention's to be a
potential hazard that could at some stage cause life threating erorrs in the
future and that is why I am pointing this out now before the error becomes a
danger to life.
As there are many "computer dumbies" out there in skilled employment of such
orgainizations as human transportation or critical to life computational
services that this small error of overlooking standard folder naming
conventions if left unresolved could become catastrophic at worst and infected
by a simple virus at least.

The potential rests in computers globally becoming jammed up with legacy
software installation that can not be uninstalled to such an extent as to make
those computers inoperable due to system data space clogging.

The second potential rests in the computers having missing critical updates
and allowing potentially infections to roam within these systems and in due
course harm and infect other computers.

Thirdly a virus could be made to take advantage of being able to destroy and
making these tempoary folder's content
dissapear so as to cause this type of error to occur and potentially exploit
this vunerability of blocking new updates from occuring on the computers the
virus has sucssesfully infected with this vunerability.

I would be please of a FIX for my own operating system and this email has be
