Hello Everyone
First of all I apologize if this email looks hideous. I was "forced" to write
it using Hotmail running in Internet Explorer 6 under WINE on Fedora 8. Thank
you for being merciful :)

Using the following two versions of OpenOffice.org, AutoCorrect seems to be
broken (at least on my system:)
OOO310_m1
DEV300_m40

Before proceeding further, the above versions were built by Pavel Janik and
were therefore downloaded from the following location:
ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/

A few necessary details:
1. I have "Format | AutoCorrect" set to "While Typing"
2. "Tools | AutoCorrect Options" has the following items checked:
Enable word completion
   Append space
Collect words
When closing a document, save the list for later use in other documents.

I have the other options set thusly:
"Accept with" is set to "Return"
"Min. word length" is set to "5"
"Max. entries is set to the default of "500"

With all of that being the case, when looking at the "Tools | AutoCorrect
Options" dialog, no matter how long my currently open document is the list of
words is blank. Using OpenOffice.org 2.4.2, AutoCorrect works perfectly.

While I await your feedback, I am downloading OpenOffice.org 3.0.1 from the
following location, to see if AutoCorrect is broken for me in that version as
well:
ftp://openoffice.cs.utah.edu/pub/openoffice/stable/3.0.1/OOo_3.0.1_LinuxIntel_install_en-US.tar.gz

I also intend on trying other build to see when this problem starts for me.
Thank you in advance for your help. Also, let me know if you need any more
information.

Sincerely,
Steven P. Ulrick

P.S.: I am running Fedora 8 Linux, and KDE 3.5.9
