It never occurred to me to use 2.4.1 :(

What I meant was that in previous distros I've used the inks to the
programs get messed up. I was using debian for some years and it took
for ever for them to update the version of OO, so I would install the up
to date version. Then when debian updated their version the symlinks
they would over-write the version that I had installed and the symlinks
wouldn't work any more because from memory the OO builds used soffice
etc while the debian used oooffice.

What I've done now is remove the openoffice.org packages and installed
the openoffice.org3 packages. But all I have working is the version of
OO3 in /opt which is the "community" version not the go-oo version.

So, is the openoffice.org3 package the same as the standard OO 3.0.1?

How would I go about installing the developer version of go-oo 3.0.1?
