[users] Exporting as PDF

Friends, I am working with OOo3 and suddenly can't export as PDF.  I  
don't get an error; the file is instanlty created but it is blank. I  
posed this question  last week and someone on the list kindly  
suggested I switch to TrueType fonts to solve my problem.  While I  
was figuring out what that meant, I lost the original post.   
Switching to TrueType does not, however, solve the problem.  The  
simplest of text continues to vanish in the conversion attempt.

Any other suggestions?

Using Mac ibookG4,  1.33 GHz PowerPC, OS 10.4.11;  OOO v3.0.1,
