I am working with OOo3 and suddenly can't export as PDF. I don't
get an error; the file is instantly created but it is blank. I posed
this question last week and someone on the list kindly suggested I
switch to TrueType fonts to solve my problem. While I was figuring
out what that meant, I lost the original post. Switching to
TrueType does not, however, solve the problem. The simplest of text
continues to vanish in the conversion attempt.
Any other suggestions?
Yes:
o You have chosen Selection for Range on the General tab of the PDF
Options dialogue, but your selection is blank.
o You have chosen Pages for Range on the General tab of the PDF
Options dialogue, but the pages you have indicated are blank.
o At Tools | Options... | OpenOffice.org Writer | Print | Pages, you
have one or both of "Left pages" and "Right pages" not ticked.
o You have your font colour set to white, but you have a tick at
Tools | Options... | OpenOffice.org | Accessibility | Options for
high contrast appearance | Use automatic font colour for screen
display. (This will display in black-on-white but print - and export
to PDF - as white-on-white.)
I trust this helps.
