Under the terms of the licence people are allowed to sell OpenOffice.org
software provided they otherwise comply with the terms of the licence. Some
people sell the software on CD for a nominal amount which is a convenience
for people with slow/unreliable/expensive internet connections. Others sell
the software with added "goodies" - special templates templates, on site
installation support, enhanced functionality, special training etc.
Unfortunately there is the third category, one of which you seem to have
come across, which is simply out to make a fast buck. What really gets our
goat is that many of these organisations promise free support and then point
their customers at us :-(

If you know anyone who has paid, they may be able to recover their money via
their credit card company, assuming they paid that way and depending on the
consumer protection laws in their country/state.
