I was going to say the same thing and you beat me to it. The selection combos with Shift and Ctrl (Command in Mac?) usually work from current cursor position. Examples: Ctrl+A selects the whole doc irrespective of cursor position Ctrl+<- or -> keys: move cursor left or right by one word Shift+End select text from current cursor till the end of line Home Shit+End selects the whole current line Ctrl+Shift+End Select text from current cursor till end of doc. Ctrl+Home Ctrl+Shift+End select the whole doc. (easier with Ctrl+a) I am sure there are many others. Wonder if there is a cheat sheet of these combos related to OOo someplace online. -- Please reply to this list only. I read this list on its corresponding newsgroup on gmane.org.
