Only problem I ran into with the above mentioned wine and crossover office 
solution is neither would run TurboTax, they had problems with the lenght of 
file names. I installed VirualBox from SUN and it ran my tax software 
(TurboTax) both last year and this error free. I presently have version 2.1.4 
installed and have not tested TTax with the new 2.2 yet. 

Just another alternative to the two products mentioned above.
