The ftp is valid:

wdsupcnv.exe - mentioned in the article - & a bunch more... including
win31.exe, win95.exe, wordvue.exe, wordconv.exe, etc. I'm sure that
there must be something there that can be used - including the original
Word 5 if you can figure out which file it is.

This could be installed in a
