I created a database with two tables. The purpose of this database

I'd be interested to see how it all works out. However, I think your
best bet is to ask on the base mailing list:

http://dba.openoffice.org/
http://dba.openoffice.org/servlets/ProjectMailingListList

Kind of OT - but first - the poster also posted at the u...@dba list
and will get someone to help.
But back to my off topic question:
Why is it that no one seems to use the Writer projects user mailing
list, or the Impress one - Why have all of the support emails for the
different packages coming via this single list?
Just curious how it came that those other, module specific lists,
seemed to have not caught on.

I'd guess it's because (1) this is the natural "first stop" for new
users; (2) lots more people are to some degree "product experts" on
Writer, Calc, and Impress than on Base, so users can nearly always get
their questions answered here for those modules, without needing more
specialized help; and (3) it's much easier for people to transfer their
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge into OOo than their Access
knowledge; Base is much less "pretrained" so users need more
hand-holding than those experts who typically follow this list (notably
you and Frank, and quite often Ariel) can easily supply here.
