HelloThe only information that I found in the guides about theautomatic font
color in the Default style is that it is black on alight background and a white
to dark. Therefore, I can notunderstand the color effects that I see.Open two
new Writer documents (Default). Insert in each ofthem the same piece of text
with the Default style, without anyformatting. Using for this purpose Paste as
... unformatted text. Now we have two identical documents. In one of them
changethe font color to another, for example blue. Copy 3-4 paragraphs of the
"blue text" and paste (using thePaste) in "black text". The inserted fragment
retains a bluecolor, as it should be.Now do the opposite. Copy 3-4 paragraphs
"black text" andpaste (using the Paste) in "blue text" (better in the middle of
aparagraph - the effect would be higher, but you can at any otherplace). The
first and last paragraphs of the inserted fragmentbecome blue, but the middle
paragraph(s) still black. It is important to stress once again that "black text"
has theautomatic black font color. And only in this case we can see theeffect.
If in the "black text", we change the automatic black onblack normal (Format =>
Symbols => Font color and replacethe "automatic" color to black color), the
effect disappears. Afragment of this text retains its black color, when
inserted intothe text in blue.Question. What is the automatic font color? How is
it different from all other font colors?--Vera
