Sends the message again, because first time was a failure in the submission of text, that I saw in gmane ---------------------------------------------------------
Hello The only information that I found in the guides about the automatic font color in the Default style is that it is black on a light background and a white to dark. Therefore, I can not understand the color effects that I see. Open two new Writer documents (Default). Insert in each of them the same piece of text with the Default style, without any formatting. Using for this purpose Paste as ... unformatted text. Now we have two identical documents. In one of them change the font color to another, for example blue. Copy 3-4 paragraphs of the "blue text" and paste (using the Paste) in "black text". The inserted fragment retains a blue color, as it should be. Now do the opposite. Copy 3-4 paragraphs "black text" and paste (using the Paste) in "blue text" (better in the middle of a paragraph - the effect would be higher, but you can at any other place). The first and last paragraphs of the inserted fragment become blue, but the middle paragraph(s) still black. It is important to stress once again that "black text" has the automatic black font color. And only in this case we can see the effect. If in the "black text", we change the automatic black on black normal (Format => Symbols => Font color and replace the "automatic" color to black color), the effect disappears. A fragment of this text retains its black color, when inserted into the text in blue. Question. What is the automatic font color? How is it different from all other font colors? -- Vera --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
