Just send an empty mail to

[email protected]

and the reply you will get then will tell you something about how to
work with the list.

It explains that you should send a mail to

[email protected]

to get an index of the mails aaa to bbb (message number, author and
subject). The total number of message is always a bit larger than the
number of mails in the archive. By checking the returned index againt
the archive you can find out which number you have to use.

Mathias

Please don't reply to "[email protected]".
I use it for the OOo lists and only rarely read other mails sent to it.
