I am having a problem with my spreadsheet in Open Office.org Writer.

The spreadsheet component of OpenOffice is called Calc, of course. So do you mean that you are using not a spreadsheet but the rudimentary calculation facilities in a table in a text (Writer) document?

When I enter a figure such as 60.00 in a column, the next press of my mouse button, deletes the '.00'. If I enter '01', oo or OO, however, all of these are acceptable. As this has only happened over the past day or so, it must be as a result of something I have done inadvertently. Can you help me?

Remove the tick from Tools | Options... | OpenOffice.org Writer | Table | Input in tables | Number format recognition (or even from "Number recognition").

I trust this helps.
