I have OpenOffice 2.0 on my home computer and there are some 'excel' files that I'm trying to import into Quickbooks. It doesn't recognize it. Will updating to the latest version solve the problem? And I suppose I will have to copy & paste the info into the updated template?!?
Is there also a way to get set up so that I have the option to automatically update OpenOffice when new versions come out? I also have 3 of the OpenOffice systems on my laptop. It is an ASUS that only has 4GB to run everything. So if there are downloads, can I automatically just update the ones that I have on it at present? (Actually, come to think of it, I believe I put it on my external harddrive, but I still limited it to the 3. I think parts of it are still connected into the main computer). Your help would be appreciated.
