Correct, vz, sleeping with M$, thinks OOo is spam. I have had to move several 
mailing list subscriptions so the vz mail servers never saw them, and this is 
one of them.  I have had some very pointed words with them over that.  Its a 
bit like talking to a piece of granite, but it makes me feel better. :) If 
another dsl service was available, I'd switch in a heartbeat.

It doesn't matter to fetchmail when its running as a daemon. :)
All I have to do it read & reply if needed.
