[users] Cell borders

I'm using Open Office 3.1 and trying to set borders around various 
cells.  I found the border presets, but I don't find any way to set 
single borders, e.g., top, right, left, or bottom.  Is there any other 
place I should be looking at to do this?  If I open a compatible Excel 
file where borders have been set singly, OO reads it without any problem 
and makes no changes to it.
