Dear James, I truly appreciate the fact that you responded so very quickly, however, either there is something wrong with me or is there something wrong with the program. I did exactly what you said for me to do and actually I had done the same thing previously only to find out that again, I have to number one page at a time. Somehow my version of OpenOffice 3.1 simply will not put sequential numbers in any document. It doesn't matter whether I have a header or footer or whether I put in the body of the document itself, it simply will not cooperate. Clearly as I said before, if I have a 29 or 30 page document it would be nearly a terrible waste of timeme to just sit and individually number each page. Any other suggestions, please?
