Oh, indeed: I think the nature of spreadsheets is that you always
have to be alert to what you are doing and what is happening.
I just tried it, and my version (2.0) decidedly does *not* work that way.
Perhaps you should upgrade to (the improved?) version 3.1, which I
was describing ...
