Ahhh But I have subscribed to the newsgroup:
gmane.comp.openoffice.questions
Which mirrors this list. But doesn't clutter up my regular inbox.
Actually I looked at:
http://www.openoffice.org/mail_list.html
But didn't see anything to confirm if I could be subscribed without turning
on some form of e-mail delivery. So since it seems this list allows posts
from non-subscribed email accounts...
Actually it would probably be more polite of me to actually
subscribe. But the fact is My real interests are elsewhere, So I'd
only occasionally check to see if any of the topics sounded interesting
enough to open them.
Still, if I was SURE the option to indefinitely suspend delivery to
my inbox was there, I'd probably do so because it might increase my
chances of getting help from those who like yourself, actually notice
if a message is from a member or not...
There is no need to subscribe to the mailing list when you are
subscribed through Gmane. Just post through the newsgroup and your post
will not show as being from an unsubsribed poster. If you post by email,
it will show as you being unsubscribed even though you are subscribed
through the Gmane newsgroup.
