Hi Harold, Thank you for that, I have tried quitting the Quickstarter, makes no difference. _I have never_ found a program as complicated to install as this one. (I have a lot of programs in my system) I am not going to bother any more, to me, it is ridiculous to have to spent so much time trying to solve a problem, I thought computers were meant to make things easier! NOT the installation of Open Office 3.1! I am staying with Open Office 3.
