To whom it may concern;
I have open office at home with my personal PC and it's very beneficial, thank
you in advance. However, I have an issue I don't know how to open the same
spread sheet on my other computer of which I use Microsoft Office!
Can you help?
Thank you,
Regards,
Nawaz
Versions of MS Office prior to Office 2007 SP2 don't support the Open
Document Format standard, which is what OOo uses by default, and though
SP2 theoretically does support the standard, it's in a very non-standard
way! Your best bet is to install OOo on your other computer, too -- you
can use both on the same computer without any problems, except for
keeping track of which one you want as the default for the MS Office
filetypes. You can also use the Save As dialog to select the filetype
(for example, .xls instead of the default .ods) -- in that case, make
sure that the automatic file name extension is selected.
