In Synaptic, search for "OpenOffice", then scroll down the screen till
you find "Writer". (It is roughly 7/8ths of the way through the
listings --- You will have to scroll down several pages.)
Somehow, in view of all the docs, forums, lists, etc I've read on this
endlessly asked question, I suspect that the entire suite will be
installed.
