The final trailing blank page doesn't bother me very much, the major
issue was to get rid of the blank pages between the tables... Is
there, though, a regular expression to use to get rid of all of them
at a single stroke?
Not that I can see. The problem is that OpenOffice regular expressions
appear to handle paragraphs separately.

I have not searched this matter out yet. It is on my "To Do list" as it
is a problem when using tables to do some block formatting.
Does anybody know if there is an issue open on this?
I feel that this is a bug or a need to RFE.
