I found I could search a number list as follows:
In the 'Search for" box I enter ^1 to find 1, ^11 to find 11, etc. Make
sure Regular Expression is checked in "more options" of the search dialog.
Of note: If you click on find All it will find all numbers that begin
with number you are searching for. e.g. ^1 will find 1, 11, 12, etc.
Are you sure you have an automatic numbered list?
Or I do miss somehting, but I can't make your suggestion work here...
