Sure. Except I do not know how to do it with gmail - I use SeaMonkey via an POP3/SMTP account so the following may not apply: 1. On Ubuntu: System|Preferences|Preferred Applications|Mail Reader - Custom|Command: <fullpathtoemailclient> In my case the <fullpathtoemailclient> also includes the command to bring up the new email composer: /home/<username>/SeaMonkey2/seamonkey/seamonkey -compose 2. In OOo: Tools|Options|Internet|E-mail|E-mail program: /home/<username>/SeaMonkey2/seamonkey/seamonkey File|Send|Document as email - etc., etc. Above also works with Thunderbird.
