G'day. In Ooo 3.1 Writer (on Win XP Pro X64), I created a small document that includes a link to another document on a server somewhere.
Then I created a PDF by printing to a file (with Acrobat 9 as my default printer) and then running the resulting .PRN file through Acrobat Distiller. This process always works fine with MS Word 2003 (and previous). In the PDF created from the OOo doc, the link is broken. I've pasted it below. It has a bunch of space characters inserted around slash characters. http://%20/%20/www.securedbysafenet%20.com/releasenotes%20/%20luna%20/009979-001_luna_sa_4-3-9.pdf Is there a setting I've overlooked that says "my URLs want auto-inserted padding spaces around [some] forward slashes" ? I pasted the link from Notepad, so no "%20/" were present in the original, and in the link editor of OOo, I left the text as text (not a button) and the target URL didn't show any "%20/" either. I saved the day by saving the document out a Word file, opening it in Word and re-creating the PDF, but that's not what I'd hope for when trying to get all my Word workflow into OOo exclusively.
