Yes, they're certainly blocking stuff, and it's possible that the
form of the confirmation message is triggering something. Actually,
though, I went through an unsubscribe and resubscribe recently to see
exactly what happened, and both the confirmation messages came from
[email protected]. The response address is the unpredictable
part, so maybe whitelisting [email protected] would be useful?
You are being far too polite and gentle with me, since what I said was
rubbish! As you say, it is the address to which the confirmation must
be sent that is unique and unpredictable, not the address -
[email protected] - from which the confirmation request itself
comes.
