Do any listmembers make use of - or have created their own - database or spreadsheet for tracking fitness-related info (the usual logging of running or cycling or swimming XC-skiing or whatever, plus observations, effects of training techniques [changes, adoption of new, dropping of old], effects of supplements [changes, adoption of new, dropping of old], correlation with odd stuff, like phase of the moon, training route is in proximity to major power transmission lines on three of every five training days (I'm makin' this up, but you get the idea... not purely numeric stuff, but also true-false, high/low.
How about similar for health/medical tracking, with info like (but not limited to) weight, physical dimensions, meds, symptoms (occurrence, intensity, etc.), side-effects (occurrence, intensity, etc.), treatment progress for major-illness recovery (heart, stroke, cancer, diabetes, other), progress for sports-injury rehab, tracking dose-vs-efficacy of herbal or non-standard treatments, etc. In either case, I don't particularly wish to re-invent the wheel, but I'd like to have a wheel and understand it enough to personalize it. The fitness group is also ok with on-line and shared solutions. But the health-problems group is concerned about privacy of data, so local control is preferred. - Kevin The information contained in this electronic mail transmission may be privileged and confidential, and therefore, protected from disclosure.
