Apologies. I did not see that you had sent a copy to the OP.

Just out of curiosity, why did you send it separately and not simply include the OP in the To: or cc: list of your reply where it would be more noticeable?

Headers from my copy of the post I sent:

   BCC: [email protected]
   Message-ID: <[email protected]>

The OP failed to read " Do Not reply to me personally but just to the list at <[email protected]> - replies to my personal email address will be ignored." and sent me a thank you note to my personal address. That is another reason unsubscribed posters should not be allowed. I think I will stick to the forum to provide support.

You did Bcc:. So I didn't see that the OP had received a copy. The "As a courtesy ..." is part of your sig. Who reads sigs? A simple cc: instead of Bcc: and I would have noticed that you had sent a copy to the OP and ...

On the other hand, why are you so upset that the OP got two copies? I can sort of understand your annoyance at receiving a personal response but why worry about the OP getting an extra one? By the by, any messages I get *personally* to this address are sent automatically (by filter) to the waste bin without me ever seeing them let alone reading them.
