To whom it may concern:
I downloaded the wrong OpenOffice.org for Mac software, and I am
wanting to download the right version. How do I get rid of the
old version from my hard drive? Can I still install the new
version if the old one is still on the desktop or should I get rid
of it first to free up some disk space? Thank you!

Josh,
You can delete the wrong version and download the correct copy at
anytime. It should not hurt to keep the wrong files if you wish,
though I see no reason to. Not being a Mac user I can not tell you
how to delete the wrong version.
FYI this is a list of users that give their time to help others,
not a direct part of OpenOffice.org support.
