I use OOo 3.x runningunder Windows XP

There is a facility in OOo that allows you to insert a formula into a table cell, e.g. in a table in a Writer document.

I tried this one:
=IF(C2>15; "Family membership fee";  "Single membership fee)
and it does not work.

In fact, even ths simplest of formulas do not work?

I would be much obliged if any of you can explain to me what this 'formula in tables' facility as all about.
