As you might imagine, requests for comparisons between Open Office and MS Office are a common newcomer question, so there are a lot of compilations, and references to those compilations in the archive. For example, message 194691 <http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?listName=users&msgNo=194691> is a pretty good example, and might be a good place for you to start.

Also if anybody has migration experience from Msoffice to Openoffice,
pls. share with me issues faced.

This is a less general question, because each organization has different sticking points, depending on what they do. Again, the archive can be very helpful, but there is no substitute for trying it for a while, and seeing what points or apparent deficiencies cause problems for your organization - and then, when you can't find answers to apparent problems in the OO documentation, come back to the list for answers. [I have found some very bright and helpful people here.] Unfortunately, there's no quick shortcut for that.
