Reposting what I sent John... Actually, I *did* subscribe from that address, but after attaching the Welcome message I received to prove it, I think I spotted the problem. Apparently our outsourced Anti-spam service (webroot) uses BATV to minimize/eliminate backscatter: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bounce_Address_Tag_Validation And apparently the OOo lists are using (brain-dead) ezmlm, which doesn't support this.
