Is there a way to convert a Base file back to Access. I have a

I should think that if you can connect to both databases it
shouldn't be too difficult to pump the table data from one to the other.
I don't use OpenOffice base so don't know if it support simultaneous
multiple database connections, but MS-Access certainly does if you have. [...]
Though no doubt well meant, I think this and other replies may have
missed the point. As I read the original query, the questioner has
OpenOffice installed but not Access. S/he also has some third-party
software that expects its data in the form of an Access database
file. That software is presumably unable to deal with an .odb
file. He needs to export material from OpenOffice Base as an .mdb
file without the use of Access itself.
I don't believe this to be possible. But someone may know better ...
If all that is needed is the data, a workaround would presumably be
to export it in a suitable fashion (as a comma-separated-value file,
via Calc?) and then borrow the use of an actual copy of Access (at
work? at a friend's? in a library? in an internet cafe?) to construct
the required .mdb file.
I trust this helps.
