Running Linux, I can not try out, but I'm pretty sure it works:
Get a copy of some mdb, connect a Base document it, remove the tables,
open your native odb and drag&drop the tables into the mdb-connected
document.
At least this used to work the other way round with the required MS
connectivity tools under Windows.
