John, to answer your second question first, no, I don't think Windows 7 is worth all this trouble, as you put it. But each computer user must decide for him or herself. As for the question you pose in the heading, other users have reported that OOo is eminently compatible with Windows 7. I have no experience myself of this matter, as I'm waiting for the stable release of OOo 3.2 before installing the suite on my Windows-7 setup. But I'm happy to report that OOo works fine with 64-bit Ubuntu Karmic.... Henri
