There are versions of OpenOffice.org for various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Mac and others. It would appear you are running Windows and downloaded another version. Normally, when you go to www.openoffice.org and click on the "I want to download OpenOffice.org" link, the appropriate version is selected. Is that where you tried to download from?
