I do believe it's a link to programs that one finds in the Applications folder.
You are referring to the Quickstarter, which, as I stated before, does
not exist on Macs. OO.o on Macs always opens bry clicking
OpeOffice.org.app, either in the applications folder or in a alias on
the dock or desktop. There is nothing inside the application that opens
a specific program on a Mac.
If you want to poke around an application file on a Mac (be very
careful, or you will totally mess it up) right click on the application
in the Applications folder, then click on "Show Package Contents"
