Yes, I've read the list guidelines, and actually referred people to them
myself. There's just something about condescending and self-righteous
posts that assume their opinions are the only logical ones that invites
demurral. Apparently, that justifies personal attacks in the minds of
some. Those people should find another list where it's acceptable.
Perhaps this list's guidelines should discourage that sort of thing.
