Top-posting has only ever made sense (and barely, at that) in a
two-person exchange of a short sequence; where all fits on one page, as:

I agree with that message, but I would like to summarize it in a two-lines rule :

* When you do a short answer to a question, you have to top-post because the reader is supposed to have already read first the question. * When you make an answer to a structured message, and want to answer it point by point, you have to put the answer to each point right *after* a short citation of the point you are answering.

but the following ask for a bottom-posting :

I really like Word because it creates beautiful documents and it
is supported by a known software company, what gives me a guarantee
that I could still be able to read my documents in 10 years. Now, OpenOffice
is only a crappy software used by communists which is not even free because it is
developed by Sun.

On that point, LaTeX is even better. (troll inside :d)

In fact, this is the contrary. Microsoft is used to change their "standard" in
order to make pay for new versions.

>Now, OpenOffice
>is only a crappy software used by communists

I'm not ;)

>which is not even free because it is developed by Sun.

As long as the source is available, this is free. *who* creates it is not the point
