Raúl, te sugeriría que desinstalaras esa que tenés e instales la nueva
versión descargándola directamente del sitio de OpenOffice. Ya es la
3.2, fijate, vas a quedar muy atrasado si no.
Para instalarla luego vas a root, extraés los archivos del paquete
hacia una carpeta cualqiuera (de faćil acceso) y ponés en la consola
dpkg -i paquete1 de openoffice
O bien
dpkg -install paquete1 de opneoffice
Y así hasta terminar con todos los paquetes de la carpeta. Cuando
hayas terminado salí de root y entrá en un usuario común para ver como
marcha el programa. Si todo sale bien, podés volver a root y tirar
los archivos que descargaste del sitio.
