I know I don't constitute a majority by any means and I'm only one person,
but I feel it necessary to mention that I don't read posts that are only an
attachment to a blank body. I don't think in this case that Michelle is
serving up malware or anything like that; it's simply a "rule" of mine that
I never open attachments, period.
As a result any attachments posted like that I won't/don't read because I
have no idea what they may contain, the sender often can't even be sure of
that, it's a favorite way to spread malware and get the user to download
malware, and otherwise gain access to deliver malicious software to people
in general. Add to that the side-trip needed to stop and read attachments
and the annoyance grows.
I think there are enough people like me that posts shouldn't be made as
attachments. I can't and won't try to stop it from happening, but wanted to
let people know they won't be read by me or others like me.
As I said, this is NOT to single out MIchelle; it's simply a convenient
place to make this post about a generality. So please, don't think you need
to protect Michelle or the good name. If you feel you must flame me, go
ahead; it won't create any wars or unproductive posts from me.
