Guy,
Some times, Spanish, some times English.
I think it is due to the origin of the document, which was not Portuguese.
But I can make it work in Portuguese Brazilian, at least for a paragraph
now. Not in European PT.
Thank you much.

Hello,
Portuguese spell checker do not work. At all.
I use OpenOffice 3.1 in Portuguese language, on Windows XP platform.
When trying to check the spelling, the program tries to make correction
suggestions in Spanish and in English.
Whaterver I did, like selecting a paragraph, all the text, one word, etc.
the program persists in making corrections in Spanish or English, not in
Portuguese.
Anyone can help with this?
Thank you in advance,
OldBeaver
Hello OldBeaver,
Which language is mentioned in the Status Bar (bottom of window, 3rd
from left) for the different paragraphs/words/texts where corrections
in a wrong language are proposed for?
Language is a 'Character' attribute, you can set it in the Paragraph
Style (or also impose it on a whole text by Select All, Format,
Character, Font, Language)
