Did you uncompress the file first, or did you just click on install.
You have to unzip the file first.

Actually, not true.
WinXP has the unzip built into it, so you can double click on the
downloaded zip file (its icon appears as a folder & zipper) which when
you double click on it, will open and show the files. Double click on
the install, and it installs. I did this with Beta 104 and also now
with Beta 109.

While this may work in a lot of cases, it also doesn't work in some
cases and there may be lingering issues after the installation.
I have done it the way you suggest and it worked most of the time, but a
few times I have has issues.
It is always better to right click and select *extract all*, and then
run install.
