If the chapters all flow in the same document (either directly or as
part of a master document), all you should need to do is ensure that
each page style you use has a header or footer with the Page Number
field. For example, if you're just using the Default page style, and
want your page numbers left-aligned at the bottom of the page:
* Click on a page of the document (the master, if you're using one).
* Insert > Footer. You now should have a footer area at the bottom
of each page, and the cursor will be in it.
* Insert > Fields > Page Number. Each page of the document should
now have its sequential page number.
