Write, Calc, etc... In Write, you can hold down the ALT button and hit i o f in that order. Or you can go to the Insert->Object->Formula After doing either, you will see a panel open at the bottom. In there you enter the formula as you wish: 6/8 is different from 6 over 8 %DELTA will show the delta symbol And there is a long list. For Calc, I can't help you. You might look through the manual, though. Good luck!
