Glad to hear you want to try OOo.

Before we get to the answe to your question, I would encourage you to try and avoid typing in all caps, as that is the internet equivalent to yelling.

To download OOo, you need to go http://www.openoffice.org and click on the word Download on the main toolbar there, or in the center of the page in a green box there is a link that says download the stable version. Click that and follow the prompts.

The most confusing part is picking a mirror. It really doesn't matter what mirror you pick, if you can figure it out, try to pick the one that is closest to you (country is enough) as that will make it go marginally faster.
