thanks for your reply. I had used the "More >>" button before but still
wasn't able to do what I wanted to do.
In the example that I quoted =IF($Cards121.$B$6>$Cards121.$E$6;2, (in part)
I have clicked on the cell and in the "Find & Replace" box searched for 21
and requested change to 12. I have "Current Selection only" ticked and a dot
in "Formulas" and a dot in "Search Rows". I have also tried with "Entire
Cells" ticked. I have also tried searching for the whole sheet reference
$cards121 with no luck either.
When I click either "Find" or "Replace" I get a box saying the Oo.org Calc
has searched to the end of the sheet etc. and nothing happens to the target
cell. I have alternatively clicked "Replace All" and get the return "Search
Key not Found". I am using Oo 1.1.2
can you offer any more help please
