You didn't say what version of OOo your using so this may not work. I'm using 1.9.104.
If you bring up the normal find and replace dialog and make sure that you've expanded 'more options' there is an option to set the "search in" to 'formula'. I've found that this will search for the "search for" and replace the text within the formula. (Also make sure that 'entire cells' is not selected). There is also the option to 'search in all sheets' if your brave enough to have it done all at once. /paul "Go the All Blacks - down with the Lions...." I've tried "Search & > Replace" without success, but maybe I'm doing it wrong. > > many thanks to anyone who can help > > regards, > Bruce Ardern, > Tauranga, > Bay of Plenty, > New Zealand. > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
